October 2007 - NEC Birmingham

What an amazingly busy month we've had here at Riversway Leisure! Not only have we been trying to sort out some really great offers in preperation for Christmas but a few of us went down to the NEC at Birmingham to meet a few of you (which actually turned out to be a whole lot of you!), oh and we sold one or two things while we were down there as well just to pass the time!!

May we say a great big THANK YOU for those of you that did come down and see us, it was great meeting all of you! We speak to a lot of people on the phones and via email all of the time, whether it be regarding after sales or for email newsletters but it was nice to put faces to some of the people who love our company as much as we do.

We managed to find time to take some pictures while we were down there, and here are a few which you might like to see:

So this is how it all began - nothing but a large space of blue carpet covered in cling film! We had our work cut out to get this place ready in less than three days but we did it. Graeme (Customer Services) and Pete (Web & Marketing Manager) can be seen in the middle image...what caption could go with this then - perhaps "There was a motorhome here somewhere..."! The bottom image shows how the stand was looking just an hour before the show was due to open! Those of you that were there on Tuesday morning (a VERY busy but enjoyable day) will remember how we managed to get the place looking a lot more presentable by the time the first customers stepped foot on our 'little' patch of the NEC!

Sadly all good things have to come to an end and the NEC show was no exception. We only hope that if you came down to see us you had a good time and enjoyed your day out. Don't be too sad that it's all over for this year, we've already started planning a corker for 2008!

July 2007 – International Caravan & Motorhome Show

Riversway Leisure are pleased to announce that they will be attending the International Caravan & Motorhome show at the NEC in Birmingham from the 16-21 October 2007.

The company will be located on a 560 square metre stand in Hall 1. The number of the stand is 1240, so keep the number safe! The stand size represents a 50% increase over the stand in 2006! This year the stand will be packed full of fantastic accessories for your caravan and motorhome, which will include; Cadac barbecues, Fiamma awings, Lafuma outdoor furniture, Royal and much much more!

The show is a perfect time for the company to meet our new and existing customers. We look forward to welcoming you on our stand!

June 2007 New Riversway Leisure Website Goes Live

After months in development June saw the launch of a brand new website for Riversway Leisure. The phenomenal growth of the internet has meant more and more customers now browse for product information and purchase on-line.

The existing Riversway website had served the company well, and has provided an excellent platform in which to build upon. However in an ever changing market nothing remains constant, so a brief was submitted to provide a more encompassing and interactive website where customers could navigate easily through product catergories, check delivery status, view order history and sign up for free email product offers.

In addition the payments for the transactions can be made through Worldpay which offers complete security against fraud.
